In Thursday's league outing, the host Edmonds-Woodway Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 3-1 victory over the Meadowdale Mavericks.

The Warriors (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Shorewood (Shoreline, WA). The Stormrays come into the 2A/3A Wesco test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Shorewood Archbishop Murphy (Everett, WA), 0-0, in a league test.

The Mavericks now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mountlake Terrace for a 2A/3A Wesco test on Tuesday, October 7. Meadowdale will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Jackson (Mill Creek, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-6.
