Washington High School Soccer - Elma nudges Forks

In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Elma Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Forks Spartans.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Hoquiam (Hoquiam, WA). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Evergreen outing with a 0-7 record. In their last outing, Hoquiam was edged by Tenino (Tenino, WA), 7-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Ilwaco Fishermen (Ilwaco, WA) in a 2B Central test, on Monday, October 6. Forks will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Fishermen come into the test with a 2-2 record after their 8-0 league loss to Adna (Adna, WA).
