In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors soccer team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the La Porte Slicers.
With the triumph, Hammond Bishop Noll moves its record to 8-7 on the campaign.
The Slicers now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mishawaka for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. La Porte will clash with a Cavemen team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Elkhart Christian Academy (Elkhart, IN). The Cavemen record now stands at 4-11.
