University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Philip Barbour Colts (Philippi, WV), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, University moves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Hawks host George Washington (Charleston, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 15-2. George Washington won 2-0 in their recent league test against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV)
Next up, the Colts confront the Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV) in a Big Ten outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Philip Barbour will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV).
