Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Silverton Foxes (Silverton, OR) and the visiting West Albany Bulldogs (Albany, OR), saw Silverton's soccer squad knock off West Albany by a count of 2-0.

The Foxes (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Corvallis (Corvallis, OR). The Spartans come into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Corvallis tipped Dallas (Dallas, OR), 6-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette outing, on Tuesday, October 7. West Albany will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Redhawks enter the outing with a 0-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Crescent Valley (Corvallis, OR).
