The Anchor Bay Tars got by the visiting Sterling Heights Stevenson Titans football team by a score of 12-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Tars meet the Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 9. Anchor Bay will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Big Reds come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 14-10 non-league loss to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI).
