The Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles football squad scored 44 points and limited the visiting Brookland-Cayce Bearcats to 0 in the War Eagles league triumph on Thursday.
The War Eagles now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Airport for a test on Thursday, October 9. Gray Collegiate Academy will face a Eagles team coming off a 14-0 non-league loss to Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
The Bearcats (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Fighting Green Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Aiken was ripped by North Augusta (North Augusta, SC), 42-14, in a non-league challenge.
