In Thursday's non-league game, the Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) football team overcame the visiting Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM), by a tally of 32-14.
The Lobos now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 25.
With the defeat, Mayfield drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Silver (Silver City, NM) to clash with the Fighting Colts in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 22. The Fighting Colts come into the outing with a record of 1-1.
