The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) and the host Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA), witnessed Liberty Christian's football squad knock off Franklin County by a tally of 35-12.

The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Hilltoppers go into the non-league bout with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Glass thwarted Liberty (Bedford, VA), 34-6, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 9. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 4-0 record after their 28-8 non-league win over George Washington (Danville, VA).
