The South Aiken Thoroughbreds football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Gilbert Indians to 21 in the Thoroughbreds non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Thoroughbreds now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Gray Collegiate Academy for a test on Thursday, October 16.

With the defeat, Gilbert drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to meet the Bearcats in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 8. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 0-3. Brookland-Cayce lost 44-0 in their recent league test against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC)
