North Carolina High School Football - Swain County trounces Mitchell

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils football squad scored a decisive 32-0 triumph over the Mitchell Mountaineers.

The Mountaineers now have a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mountain Heritage for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. Mitchell will play a Cougars team coming off a 42-22 non-league loss to Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 2-4.
