North Carolina High School Football - Montgomery Central nudges Randleman

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Montgomery Central Timberwolves football team scored a tight 19-14 win over the Randleman Tigers.

With the win, Montgomery Central advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Ledford (Thomasville, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 9. The Panthers go into the battle with a record of 2-3. Ledford lost 28-22 in their recent non-league match against South Davidson (Denton, NC)

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 9. Randleman will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans come into the match with a 5-0 record after their 36-24 non-league win over Lexington Senior (Lexington, NC).
