In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lakewood Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Burlington-Edison Tigers.
The Cougars (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Bayhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Bellingham beat Anacortes (Anacortes, WA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers face the Lynden Lions (Lynden, WA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 7. Burlington-Edison will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record.
