The Southwestern Randolph Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Jordan-Matthews Jets to 0 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Randleman for a non-league game on Monday, October 6. Southwestern Randolph will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Central Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
The Jets (1-17) will now prepare for their game against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league game with a 5-14 record. In their last game, Southern Lee went down by West Johnston (Benson, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
