Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) and the visiting Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN), observed Southwood's volleyball team top Manchester by a count of 2-0.

The Knights (18-5) will now prepare for their contest against Northwestern (Kokomo, IN). The Tigers enter the contest with a 13-11 record. In their last battle, Northwestern achieved victory over Taylor (Kokomo, IN), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Squires now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wabash for a battle on Tuesday, October 7. Manchester will encounter a Apaches squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lewis Cass (Walton, IN). The Apaches record now stands at 17-9.
