The Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) soccer nipped the host Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Kadets now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Lutheran for a 4A Pikes Peak challenge on Tuesday, October 7. Air Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Lions record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Palmer Ridge moves to 5-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO) to encounter the Red-Tailed Hawks in a 4A Pikes Peak challenge on Thursday, October 9. The Red-Tailed Hawks go into the contest with a record of 3-4.
