Michigan High School Soccer - Utica Ford toppled by Athens

Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Utica Ford Falcons (Sterling Heights, MI), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Athens moves its record to 9-3 on the campaign.
The Falcons now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cranbrook Kingswood for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Utica Ford will clash with a Cranes team coming off a 3-1 league win over St. Mary's Prep (Orchard Lake, MI). The Cranes record now stands at 10-1.
