Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Norwell moves its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN) to clash with the Cadets in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Cadets come into the test with a record of 9-7. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Carroll (Fort Wayne, IN)

Next up, the Bruins confront the Eastbrook Panthers (Marion, IN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 6. Blackford will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Panthers go into the outing with a 13-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Mississinewa (Gas City, IN).
