The Bloomington Purple Raiders soccer team (Bloomington, IL), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting Peoria Notre Dame Irish (Peoria, IL)

The Irish (10-3) will now prepare for their outing against Normal West (Normal, IL). The Wildcats enter the Big Twelve outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Normal West was overwhelmed by Morton (Morton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Purple Raiders confront the Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, October 4. Bloomington will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record.
