Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC) and the host Calvary Christian Cougar (King, NC), saw Rockwell Christian School's soccer squad hold off Calvary Christian by a count of 1-0.

The Chargers (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Tabernacle Christian (Monroe, NC). The Rams enter the NCCSA A District 2 - West Region battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Tabernacle Christian tipped Shining Light Baptist Academy (Monroe, NC), 4-2, in a league battle.

Next up, the Cougar battle the Faith Christian Eagles (Ramseur, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, October 7. Calvary Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 11-3 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Southview Christian (Statesville, NC).
