In Thursday's league outing, the host Delavan-Darien Comets soccer squad scored a tight 8-2 win over the East Troy Trojans.
The Comets (13-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland, WI). The Lightning enter the non-league outing with a 10-2 record. In their last outing, Lake Country Lutheran tipped Luther Prep (Watertown, WI), 8-0, in a non-league test.
The Trojans now sport a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they host Whitewater for a Rock Valley - North test on Tuesday, October 7. East Troy will clash with a Whippets team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Evansville (Evansville, WI). The Whippets record now stands at 5-6.
