Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host DeMotte Christian Knights (DeMotte, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Kankakee Valley moves its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Kougars travel to Washington Township (Valparaiso, IN) to meet the Senators in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Senators come into the test with a record of 2-11. Washington Township won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against River Forest (Hobart, IN)

Next up, the Knights confront the North White Vikings (Monon, IN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 6. DeMotte Christian will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 10-4 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Benton Central (Oxford, IN).
