Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Juanita Sanchez Complex Cavaliers (Providence, RI), 4-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Johnston moves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Prout (Wakefield, RI) to meet the Crusaders in a Division 3 test on Saturday, October 4. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 5-2. Prout lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI)
The Cavaliers now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cranston East for a Division 3 test on Friday, October 3. Juanita Sanchez Complex will confront a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 9-4.
