Riverdale Baptist Crusaders (Upper Marlboro, MD) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Lanham Christian Lions (Lanham, MD), 11-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Riverdale Baptist moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) to meet the Tigers in a Maryland Independent Schools I test on Tuesday, October 14. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-2.

The Lions now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Calverton for a Maryland Independent Schools I test on Friday, October 3.
