In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Larkin Royals soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Round Lake Panthers.
The Royals (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Blackhawks go into the Upstate Eight - West outing with a 10-5 record. In their last game, West Aurora edged Metea Valley (Aurora, IL), 4-1, in a non-league game.
The Panthers (7-7) will now prepare for their game against Antioch (Antioch, IL). The Sequoits come into the Northern Lake County game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Antioch was nipped by Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL), 7-0, in a league game.
