The Long Branch Green Wave smashed the host Pinelands Regional Wildcats soccer team by a tally of 6-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Green Wave face the Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 6. Long Branch will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record.
The Wildcats (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against Red Bank Catholic (Red Bank, NJ). The Caseys go into the non-league bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Red Bank Catholic was overwhelmed by Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 6-0, in a non-league bout.
