Lourdes/Valley Christian Knights (Oshkosh, WI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Mayville Cardinals (Mayville, WI), 2-0 in a league outing.

The Knights (10-0) will now prepare for their outing against Wayland Academy (Beaver Dam, WI). The Big Red go into the Wisconsin Flyway outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Wayland Academy by Lake Mills (Lake Mills, WI), 10-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Cardinals confront the Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders (Waupun, WI) in a Wisconsin Flyway test, on Monday, October 6. Mayville will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Crusaders come into the test with a 4-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Fond du Lac (North Fond du Lac, WI).
