Northridge Knights (Niles, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL), 6-0 in a league outing.

The Knights (9-3) will now prepare for their outing against Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL). The Knights go into the Chicagoland Christian outing with a 15-6 record. In their last outing, Chicago Christian got by Westmont (Westmont, IL), 8-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Hurricanes play the Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish (Kankakee, IL) in a Chicagoland Christian outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Marian Central Catholic will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Fightin' Irish go into the outing with a 1-19 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Watseka (Watseka, IL).
