In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Washington Panthers soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Moline Maroons.
The Panthers (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Centennial (Champaign, IL). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Centennial got by Manual (Peoria, IL), 3-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Maroons play the Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) in a Western Big 6 outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Moline will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Pioneers go into the outing with a 12-3 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Macomb (Macomb, IL).
