Nebraska High School Softball - Auburn can't get by Nebraska City

The Nebraska City Pioneers edged the host Auburn Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 17-16 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Pioneers now sport a 14-8 record.

With the loss, Auburn moves to 17-8 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Yutan-Mead (Yutan, NE) to confront the Patriots in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Patriots come into the battle with a record of 18-6. Yutan-Mead won 5-4 in their recent league battle against Douglas County West (Valley, NE)
