The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) and the host Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA), observed Bacon County's softball team prevail over Tattnall County by a tally of 12-4.

The Raiders (18-3) will now prepare for their bout against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears go into the non-league bout with a 17-8 record. In their last bout, Pierce County was routed by Appling County (Baxley, GA), 11-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Long County Blue Tide (Ludowici, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 3. Tattnall County will attempt to advance on its 2-13 season record. The Blue Tide go into the bout with a 21-4 record after their 24-3 league win over Islands (Savannah, GA).
