The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Dickson Comets (Ardmore, OK) and the host Blackwell Maroons (Blackwell, OK), saw Dickson's softball squad nip Blackwell by a score of 3-2.

With the triumph, Dickson improves its record to 20-13 on the year. The Comets host Lexington (Lexington, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, October 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 11-2. Lexington won 5-0 in their recent non-league game against Dickson (Ardmore, OK)

The Maroons now hold a 14-19 record.
