In Thursday's league challenge, the host Rothsay Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Brandon/Evansville Chargers.

The Tigers (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Hancock (Hancock, MN). The Owls come into the non-league challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last test, Hancock went down by Parkers Prairie (Parkers Prairie, MN), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Chargers now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henning for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. Brandon/Evansville will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wadena-Deer Creek (Wadena, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 6-7.
