In Thursday's league match, the West Plains Zizzers (West Plains, MO) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Branson Pirates (Branson, MO), by a margin of 3-0.

The Zizzers now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a non-league contest on Monday, October 6. West Plains will battle a Eagles team coming off a 1-1 non-league Sullivan (Sullivan, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.

Next, the Pirates battle the Bolivar Liberators (Bolivar, MO) in a Ozark Mountain contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Branson will attempt to move on its 14-10 season record. The Liberators go into the battle with a 10-12 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Carl Junction (Carl Junction, MO).
