In Thursday's league challenge, the host Calvin Christian Squires volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Godwin Heights Wolverines.
The Squires (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri County Area (Howard City, MI). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Tri County Area went down by Kenowa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI), 3-1, in a non-league test.
The Wolverines now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wellspring Prep for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. Godwin Heights will play a team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Lee (Wyoming, MI). The record now stands at 0-11.
