Crest Lancers (Colony, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Madison Bulldogs (Madison, KS), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lancers (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Galena (Galena, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record. In their last challenge, Galena beat Northeast (Arma, KS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Burlingame Bearcats (Burlingame, KS) in a Lyon County test, on Tuesday, October 7. Madison will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Bearcats go into the test with a 5-15 record after their 2-1 league loss to Northern Heights (Allen, KS).
