In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Mormon Trail Saints volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Diagonal Maroons.
The Saints (11-7) will now prepare for their test against Cardinal (Eldon, IA). The Comets go into the non-league test with a 5-16 record. In their last test, Cardinal went down by Albia (Albia, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Maroons now sport a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murray for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9.
