In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting EF Academy Hawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the SEED: LA Grizzlies.

The Hawks (4-8) will now prepare for their test against Sequoyah School (Pasadena, CA). The Gryphons go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Sequoyah School beat Highland Hall (Northridge, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies play the Animo City of Champions Wildcats (Inglewood, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 3. SEED: LA will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Animo Venice (Los Angeles, CA).
