Emmanuel Christian Academy (Newington, CT) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Victory Baptist Academy Patriots (Weatherford, TX), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bible Baptist Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. Emmanuel Christian Academy will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league win over Kings Way Christian School (Douglasville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-5.

The Patriots (15-10) will now prepare for their game against Lighthouse Baptist Academy (Theodore, AL). The Ambassadors go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Lighthouse Baptist Academy was edged by Pensacola Christian Academy (Pensacola, FL), 3-2, in a league game.
