Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights (Fort Wayne, IN) and the host Fort Wayne Northrop Bruins (Fort Wayne, IN), observed Fort Wayne Bishop Luers's volleyball team top Fort Wayne Northrop by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers upgrades its record to 11-16 on the year. The Knights host Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne, IN) to meet the Panthers in a Summit challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 13-17.

The Bruins now own a 8-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mississinewa for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Fort Wayne Northrop will face a Indians squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, IN). The Indians record now stands at 18-3.
