The Fruitland Grizzlies edged the visiting Vale Vikings volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies play the Payette Pirates (Payette, ID) in a 4A Snake River Valley outing, on Tuesday, October 7. Fruitland will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record.

With the loss, Vale drops to 11-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Pendleton (Pendleton, OR) to play the Buckaroos in a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. The Buckaroos come into the outing with a record of 10-3.
