Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Las Animas Trojans (Las Animas, CO) and the visiting Kim/Branson Mustangs (Kim, CO), observed Las Animas's volleyball team top Kim/Branson by a count of 3-0.
The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their battle against Center (Center, CO). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record.
The Mustangs now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wiley for a 1A Arkansas Valley battle on Thursday, October 9.
