In Thursday's league challenge, the host Lincoln Park Railsplitters volleyball squad scored a 3-0 win over the Taylor Griffins.

With the win, Lincoln Park improves its record to 5-13 on the season. The Railsplitters host Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI) to face the Bears in a Downriver test on Tuesday, October 7. The Bears go into the test with a record of 5-16. Roosevelt lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI)

Next, the Griffins meet the Trenton Trojans (Trenton, MI) in a Downriver challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Farmington (Farmington, MI).
