In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting McCurdy Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles.

The Bobcats (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM). The Trojans come into the 2A District 5 challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Mesa Vista beat Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles play the Ramah Mustangs (Ramah, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 4. Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Quemado (Quemado, NM).
