Somonauk Bobcats (Somonauk, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mendota Trojans (Mendota, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Somonauk advances its record to 12-6 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL) to play the Titans in a Little Ten outing on Friday, October 3. The Titans come into the outing with a record of 12-15. Illinois Math & Science Academy lost 2-0 in their recent league outing against Serena (Serena, IL)
With the loss, Mendota drops to 4-18 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Newman Central Catholic (Sterling, IL) to play the Comets in a Three Rivers game on Tuesday, October 7. The Comets go into the game with a record of 8-13.
