The Minden Whippets topped the visiting Sandy Creek Cougars volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Whippets now have a 18-6 record. They play next when they travel to Centura for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. Minden will play a Centurions team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Adams Central (Hastings, NE). The Centurions record now stands at 15-4.

With the loss, Sandy Creek drops to 12-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Deshler (Deshler, NE) to confront the Dragons in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 7. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 8-12. Deshler lost 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE)
