The St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) volleyball held off the host Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL), 2-1 in Thursday's league match.

Next up, the Bruins battle the Parkview Christian Academy Falcons (Yorkville, IL) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 7. St. Bede will attempt to move on its 14-9 season record.
