Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Sacramento Adventist Capitals (Carmichael, CA) and the host Trinity Prep Crusaders (Napa, CA), observed Sacramento Adventist's volleyball team top Trinity Prep by a count of 2-0.

The Capitals (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Central Valley Christian Academy (Ceres, CA). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

The Crusaders now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountain View Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. Trinity Prep will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Luis Valdez Leadership Academy (San Jose, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-5.
