New Mexico High School Football - West Mesa smashes Rio Grande

October 20, 2022: Albuquerque, NM 87121

The West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) football routed the visiting Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 53-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 6A District 2/5 bout, on Thursday, October 27. West Mesa will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the bout with a 2-7 record after their 45-21 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, NM).

The Ravens (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Vikings enter the non-league bout with a 6-3 record. In their last bout, Valley was overwhelmed by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 35-15, in a league bout.
