North Carolina High School Football - Ashe County drops to South Caldwell

In Thursday's league game, the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) football team knocked off the host Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC), by a final score of 42-22.

The Spartans (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Hibriten topped Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC), 21-20, in a non-league contest.
